Meet Stella Chin Akoma
Stella Yetunde Akoma, professionally known as Stella Chin Akoma and The Modern Widow, is a Nigerian Afrofusion and Gospel recording artist, songwriter, author, scriptwriter, and founder of P-Matrix Global Entertainment. She hails from Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria, and studied Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt.
A creative storyteller at heart, Stella is also a writer of books and film scripts, with interests in acting and film production, which beautifully complement her Theatre Arts background. Through music, literature, and visual storytelling, she transforms experiences of love, loss, faith, healing, and resilience into works that inspire and uplift others.
Guided by her personal motto, "Chosen to Inspire, Born to Shine," Stella continues to build a legacy of creativity, hope, and purpose, using her voice and artistic gifts to connect with audiences across generations and cultures.
